Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Wash, peel and finely dice carrot and sweet potato. Wash zucchini and dice separately, removing tough peel if needed.

  2. Steam carrot and sweet potato until beginning to soften, then add zucchini and continue until all vegetables squash with a fork.

  3. Drain excess liquid, reserving a spoonful; mash or blend to a moist, cohesive consistency.

  4. Check especially for hard carrot pieces and let cool before feeding.

Serving by Age

For beginners serve smooth, cohesive spoonfuls. Gradually leave soft mashed lumps as your baby's oral skills develop. This is a vegetable component, so include iron-rich foods across meals.

6 months+

Smooth, moist vegetable mash without hard pieces.

9 months+

Thicker fork-mash with fully tender soft lumps.

Allergen Information

The three listed vegetables have no intentionally added common major allergens; verify any added yogurt, milk or seasoning separately.
