Nibli is an iPhone app for parents starting solids. It brings together meal ideas, a suggested daily feeding plan and a record of the foods your baby has tried, so you are not piecing it together from a dozen tabs.
It works whether you follow baby-led weaning, spoon-feed, or combine both. The plan is a starting point you adjust, not a strict schedule: your baby's hunger and fullness cues still lead.
This page explains what the app does today, what is free and what needs Premium, and what the app cannot do, so you can decide whether it fits your family.
A suggested feeding plan you can adjust
You enter your baby's age, how they are milk-fed, where they are with solids, their usual wake time and naps. Nibli suggests how milk feeds and solid meals might fit into that day.
You can change the plan as your baby's needs and your family's routine change. It is a suggestion to organise the day around, not a target your baby has to meet.

Meal ideas for your baby's stage
Nibli's recipes cover first foods and everyday baby meals, with ideas featuring vegetables, fruit, grains and iron-rich foods.
Recipes are a starting point. Check that each food is soft enough and shaped for your baby's current eating skills, and leave out ingredients your baby should avoid.

Tracking first foods
The tracker keeps a record of the foods and ingredients your baby has tried, so you can see what is new and plan more variety.
It is a personal record, not a medical tool. It cannot tell you whether a food is safe for your child or detect an allergic reaction. If you notice symptoms after a food, speak to a healthcare professional, and call your local emergency number for breathing difficulty or swelling of the face, lips or tongue.

What Nibli does
Nibli covers three everyday questions: what could my baby eat today, how might meals fit around milk feeds and naps, and what have we already tried.
Alongside that, it explains why texture, size, shape, seating and supervision matter when offering solids, with references to published guidance on relevant topics.
- Meal ideas for starting solids, baby-led weaning, spoon-feeding and combination feeding, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
- A suggested daily feeding plan built from your baby's age, milk-feeding approach, stage with solids, wake time and naps.
- A first-foods tracker for the foods and ingredients your baby has tried.
- A place to note known food allergies and feeding preferences so you can keep them in mind.
- Educational guidance on food preparation, common choking hazards and introducing common allergens.
Who Nibli is for
Nibli is for parents and caregivers of babies who are starting solids, usually from around 6 months, and for the months after as textures and meals change.
It suits families who want ideas and a loose daily structure without committing to one perfect method. If your baby has a known or suspected allergy, a medical condition or feeding difficulties, use the app alongside individual advice from your child's healthcare professional.
Where the guidance comes from
Nibli's educational content draws on published guidance from organisations including the WHO, CDC, NHS and the American Academy of Pediatrics, with references on relevant topics. Nibli is not affiliated with or endorsed by these organisations.
Nibli provides general education and planning support, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency help. Always supervise your baby while eating.
